Edward Abbeys signature, from Kipp Green*

Kipp Green (slickroc@aros.net) lives in Boulder Utah, in the heart of the Escalante Basin..Ed's Country. He has just started Slickrock Gallery with fine art images of the Southwest and a desert travel guide. Check it out. In 1985 he got his original edition copy of Slickrock signed by Edward Abbey.

"Here is Ed's signature given at the now defunct Cosmic Aroplane Bookstore in Salt Lake City. He was ill then and did not look well. Perhaps the beginning of the end? I felt like a creep just walking up and pushing the book in front of him. I was so nervous all I said was thanks and that's all."
